"Everything went as planned. Started promptly. Procedures were explained as they were implemented."- D.M. / Demandforce / Nov 10, 2015
"A friend recommended these great folks to me when we moved to the city. My first experience was great: friendly and helpful front office staff, and equally kind and knowledgeable tech and dentist. Nice office, running on time for my appointment...just a generally smooth experience. No complaints. But what pushed me to write a review is the incredible treatment I received the day before Thanksgiving. I called in with what I thought was minor gum pain, fully expecting to be told that I wouldn't be able to get in till after the holiday. I am so lucky that Dr. Reifer recognized this as a sign of a potentially serious issue for a patient who is heavily pregnant. She got me into the office within two hours of my call and discovered an infection that required immediate treatment. And she found me an oral surgeon right across the street to provide that treatment--which can't be easy mere hours before a major national holiday. While dental work is never fun, I'm so grateful for the fantastic staff here. I was never made to feel like a burden even though my emergency came at a super inconvenient time, and I'm so thankful they recognized the urgency of my situation even when I did not. I'm definitely a customer for life!"- E.B. / Yelp / Nov 28, 2019

"Dr. Swift and Karla were very kind and nice. Even the girls in reception and the girls of the X-Rays were very nice too. I will definitely return."- M.I / Doctible / Oct 04, 2019

Most Dallas Laser Dentistry patients can benefit from a whiter, brighter smile. Natural aging and staining food and drink, such as coffee, tea, colas, red wine, and tobacco, make the teeth darker and yellow. Tooth discoloration can also be caused during tooth formation, from certain antibiotics, and excessive fluoride. Tooth whitening helps patients to have a younger, more dazzling smile.
What to Expect
Zoom! Whitening takes place over three 15-minute sessions. The dentist uses a special UV light to activate the hydrogen peroxide gel, so the patient’s eyes, lips and gums must be completely protected throughout the process. The gel works with the UV light to break up and remove stains. Patients are recommended to have a routine teeth cleaning prior to the procedure. Some patients may experience minor tingling immediately after the procedure. While whitening results can be seen immediately, a dramatically whiter smile can be seen in one or two weeks. Patients will be given home-use touch-up kits to maintain the whitening effects.

Drawbacks of Zoom?
Zoom! Whitening uses an artificial UV lamp, similar to what is used in tanning beds, which can cause a sunburn on any unprotected skin or those with sensitive skin. Patients using products with Retin-A or blood pressure medication are at greater risk for a sunburn since these products make the skin more sensitive to UV light. Zoom! also causes greater tooth sensitivity after the treatment since the bleaching agent is left on for a longer time.
For the first 48 hours after the procedure, the enamel’s pores are open, which means they can absorb stains faster. Patients will be given a comprehensive list of dietary restrictions to follow for the first 48 hours. If a patient happens to eat or drink something from the list, they should brush or rinse their teeth immediately to prevent any staining.
Zoom or Laser?
At Dallas Laser Dentistry, most of our patients prefer laser tooth whitening since it takes less time, leaves patients with less tooth sensitivity after the procedure, it’s safer since there’s less contact with the bleaching agent and the laser lamp will not cause a sunburn on exposed or sensitive skin.
